the Italian Feast of the Incappuciati, which is tomorrow, when we lament the woeful fate of those who can't get their morning coffee with steamed milk, and are thus incappuciated
National Chocolate Souffle Day, on the 28th. If you're reading this, you probably have my mailing address -- feel free to send festal libations on that day. (The 28th is also Kalevala Day. Salmon and chocolate... yummm...)

I like your explanation of "incappucciati" better than the literal "unhooded".

D'oh, should be "hooded", not "unhooded". Silly prefix!
Cripes, but my coffee is lacking the appropriate "hood." Alas, woe is me (am I?).
Re the Whuppityy Scoorie conjectures...I assume it has something to do with oatmeal and sheep. But I am not entirely certain.

Oatmeal and/or sheep are a safe ingredient bet when trying to define anything Scottish!
